The wood is from a maple tree that had a hollow through it. The hollow has been infilled with epoxy. There’s a lot to the grain Pattern. Some Spalted, some Curl, all from near a Burl. The grain pattern appears to mirror the hollow forming what looks like a snakes head. One can get lost in the complex patterns alone.
